Well, hi there!
I started this blog two years ago as a way to store up memories and thoughts on life after having my first child, Evangeline (we call her Evie for short). Since then, we've welcomed our second baby girl, Eleanora, into the world, and I've been reminded all over again how much I have to learn.
This life we've been given can be wonderful and joy-filled and frazzling and hectic. There are always dishes in our sink and crumbs on our floors. And some of us get food on our faces.
But there is love in our hearts and laughter in our bellies, too.
This is where I write about my many adventures (and misadventures...) in motherhood, marriage and my faith in Jesus.
I don't have it all figured out, and I constantly feel like a work in progress. But maybe you feel that way, too, and maybe we can encourage one another.
My prayer is that through it all, we will never cease to keep our feathers full with hope and our roots sunk deep into what truly matters.
